I wonder where else Touzi has us establish ourselves and live our lives? His verse says,

Verse

High and steep, ten thousand fathoms wide,

Wind cannot blow in, rain cannot wash over.

With no road on four sides, it doesn’t facilitate travel.

There’s nowhere for you to set foot.

The lights of the two spheres have never, ever reached;

This is an alternate universe.

Deep in the night old Wang goes into the western peak.

Not letting outsiders know.

Commentary

On this particular mountain of jewels, everyone has a seat of their own; it’s just that they won’t retire into deep hiding or roam freely appreciating it. They uselessly make the monkey of mind climb a cage, and the horse of intellect gallop. When you view it in detail, it overshadows the highest of peaks, beyond the precipices of the layered mountaintops; even the polar mountain itself can hardly match it; how can Great Flower Mountain compare? Leaning on the sky, stretching over the sea, its splendor is forever unique.
